Femina Hip has been honoured with the Malkia wa Nguvu Legacy Maker Award by Clouds Media Group, recognising the organisation’s longstanding contribution to empowering young people and amplifying youth voices across Tanzania.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Femina Hip family, Executive Director Ruth Mlay described the moment as deeply meaningful, reflecting on the years of stories, people, and collective effort that have shaped the organisation’s journey.
The award celebrates the legacy of generations of the Femina family whose work has contributed to creating spaces where young people can access information, build confidence, raise their voices, and take action in their communities.
Accepting the award, Ruth Mlay dedicated the recognition to everyone who has been part of Femina Hip’s journey.
